Welcome to Copenhagen Open 2006
Copenhagen Open is actually three tournaments in one, where Danish Disc Golf Tour is the main event aimed for the pro players around Europe. It is, as the name says, part of the national tour in Denmark and therefore gives points to the total standing on the tour. Foreign players are eligible to play on all tournaments of the Danish Disc Golf Tour on equal basis with danish players. Danish players are not eligible to play, unless they have a handicap better than 20 (see the Danish Handicap list here). Foreign players will be evaluated by the Copenhagen Open comittee to qualify for the Danish Disc Golf Tour.
The Challenge Tour is the "amateur" part of Copenhagen Open and also a separate tour for the more recreative players in Denmark. It also gives points to a total standing and foreign players are eligible to play on all tournaments of the Challenge Tour on equal basis with danish players. Danish players are not eligible to play, unless they have a handicap poorer than 10 (see the Danish Handicap list here). Foreign players will be evaluated by the Copenhagen Open comittee to qualify for the Challenge Tour.
The Danish Double Championships is, as the name says, an official national championship for all Danish players. Foreign players can participate on equal basis with the danish players and win prizes, but can (of course) not be crowned as National Danish Champions!
 Copenhagen Open is played at the same time as the biggest European ultimate tournament "Wonderful Copenhagen Ultimate" and in the same park! Only 5 minutes walk from the course tent you will therefore have the possibility to watch top class ultimate played by the 700 best players in Europe (and USA).
